Samyuktha Swakula Sali Sangha, Bangalore is a well-known Sangha since six years from the date of its establishment in the hear ts of entire Swakula Sali community in Bangalore, as well across the entire state of Karnataka for its valuable services to the overall growth of our Swakula Sali community.

GOPAL KALA BHAJAN

The Gopal kala Bhajan conducted and celebrated in nava gudi  (Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple)

The day is more popular as 'GURU POORNIMA". 

On this day, Satyanarayana Pooja was also conducted. 

Colourful rangolis using "SALT" was used to decorate the temple. 

The festival was celebrated with great fervour. 

The Bhajan mandali broke the 'butter filled pots' with their 'TALA' and later went around the city barefoot. 

Enroute, they halted briefly at Samarath Ramdas Temple, where prasad was distributed (this is a biannual routine. This is repeated again in Karthik Poornima). 

The Prasad was sponsered by Srikhande Ashwath narayana's childrens, namely, Srikhande Shankar and Srikhande Narendra.

B.E.SWAKULA has been a doing a yeoman service to the society.

Established in 1994, the B.E.SWAKULA has been carrying on the tradition of conducting “Yajur Upakarma”.

Continuing this social service, the B.E.SWAKULA is conducting the “Yajur Upakarma” for the Swakula Sali community at the ಅನಂತ್  ಆಶರಂ  on 24^th ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೨೦೧೦ the Anantha Asharama on 24^th August 2010.

The programme starts at 7.30 am.

Swakula Sali bandhus are encouraged to participate in large numbers and make this programme successful.

The programme will be conducted under the guidance of the learned and revered Veda Brahma Shri.:Prabhakar Bhattar.

Lord Sri BHAGWAN JIHVESWARA JAYANTI

Our 'Kula Deva' Sri Bhagwan Jihveshwara' Jayanti is being celebrated in a grand scale by the entire Swakula Sali community.
The "SAMYUKTA SWAKULA SALI SANGHA" is organising a grand programme with lot of cultural programmes thrown in at Cubbon Park, opp MS Building on this Sunday, 22nd August 2010.
Minister Sri.Katta Subramanya Naidu will grace the occassion.

The SWAKULA SALI SANGHA", Bangalore is organising a programme on its premises in Laxman Rao Road, Huriopet throughout the day. There will be 'Traditional Pandari Bhajan' in the evening.

All Swakula Sali Bandhus are requested to celebrate the Jayanthi and attend both the programmes.

SRI JIHVESWARA VIDYABRIDHI TRUST MEDICAL CAMP WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

SRI JIHVESHWARA VIDYABRIDHI TRUST has been doing yeoman service to the swakula sali student community by providing books, scholarships, etc to the economically weaker sections of the Community.

Besides this services, the Trust recently organised FREE MEDICAL CAMP following the motto of 'HEALTH IS WEALTH".

The Medical Camp was held at Sri Anantha ashram and Sri chandramouleshwara Temple premises between 9 am to 2pm by renowned Doctors in the respective fields.

The Camp had a variety of Doctors catering to patients of varying from

DINESH GUNDU RAO IN MALLIKARJUNA TEMPLE

The famous Mallikarjuna Temple, more popularly known as "nava gudi" continued to attract people from all corners of the city and even celebrities flocked to the temple to seek the blessings of the Lord. 

Congress Leader and Gandhinagar MLA Shri.Dinesh Gundu Rao visited the Mallikarjuna Temple to seek the blessings of the Lord Srisaila Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple.
His visit was preceded by the visit of the former Prime Minister Shri.H.D.Deve Gowda.
Shri.Dinesh Gundu Rao who is the son of former Karnataka Chief Minister the late Mr.R.Gundu Rao was very happy to see such a huge gathering.

 Shri.Dinesh Gundu Rao was honoured with a Shawl and Garland.
He was presented a photo of Sant Gyaneshwara Maharaj by the temple authorities. It was presented by H.B.P.Prabhakar Bhodle Maharaj.

DEVE GOWDA IN MALLIKARJUNA TEMPLE

The Mallikarjuna Temple, more popularly known as 'Nava Gudi' continues to attract celebrities from all over the country.
The latest to fall for the beauty of the temple and the attractive Bhajan was the former Prime Minister of India, H.D.DEVE GOWDA. Yes, he along with his son came to the temple on the Saptah day and recd the blessings of Lord Mallikarjuna.

Srikanth Matrubai explained the historical significance of the temple and requested the PM to listen to the melodious Abhangas being sung.
The Bhajan Mandali along with Marathi Abhangas also sang the Kannada song "jayathu Jayathu Vittala......." under the leadership of B.G.Nagaraj.
The Prime Minister was seen enjoying the song thoroughly.
He later took the blessings of H.B.P.Prabhakar Bhodle Maharaj of Damangaon, Pandharpur. Bhodle Maharaj invited Sri.Deve Gowda to Pandharpur.
Mr.Halubhai RamNarayan later was seen exchanging pleasantries with the PM.

TOLLAVADA BHAGVAT SAPTAH

The Bhagavat Saptah was celebrated with great fervour and devotion in Tollavada. The Vitoba Temple here is more than 128 years old.



The Saptah went for 1 month.






Every Sunday, there was special alankara for the Swami.
There was a Grand Celebration Day on the conclusion of the Bhagvat Saptah on 13th may 2010.







Later on, some devotees went to T.narsipura and Nanjungud to resume their daily duties after being immersed in devotional bhajan and akhand bhagvat parayana for more than a month.
