ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಮಹಾ ಮಾರಿ ಕಾರಣ ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ದುಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿದೆ. ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಾರಿ ಕಾಣದಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದ ಘಟಕದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮೇಲಿನ ಸೂಚನೆಯನ್ನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಲು ಕೋರಿಕೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಗ್ರುಪ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ತುರ್ತು ವಿಷಯ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

The Swakula Sali Community has been carrying on the performance of Special Pooja to Goddess Amba Bhavani through PARU, held on every Ashada.
This year the Pooja is being held TODAY at Sri Bande Mahakali Temple (I-Cha Gudi).

June 25,2017 will be a RED-LETTER DAY as it will be the day when the
BHAGWAN SREE JIHVESHWARA SPORTS & CULTURAL ASSOCIATION will be inaugurated!

The Inaugural function will be graced and blessed by Stalwarts from Sports field and will be followed with Cultural programs and Sports event.

Sport helps build communities, brings people together and brings optimism in society...mirroring what Culture does.
So, it makes sense to have a Sports and a Culture Association under one banner.
Sports and Culture thus is a social bridge and a glue to stick the community together.
Our Swakula Sali Community has been glued for decades due to the Pandari Bhajan Sampraday that we have steadfastly follow even on this day of Modernism.
But Modern Day attractions are luring our youngsters away, hence to address this issue and tackle the same, it is imperative that they are brought under a passion which they can easily associate with.
Sports and culture is on top which fits the bill perfectly, making the community to stick together and grow together.
Swakula Sali community has many hidden talent which is to be identified, nurtured and not only provide a platform to showcase their talent but help them bring to limelight.
Towards this end, like minded under the guidance of knowledgeable persons have come together to form a committee called BHAGWAN SREE JIHVESHVARA SPORTS & CULTURAL ASSOCIATON.
The aims and objectives of the Association is many but the basic one is to encourage, develop skills and give opportunity.

Swakula Bandhus, Be Alert during the Social Census...........

 Dear Swakula Bandhus, 

The Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes on behalf of the Karnataka Government will be conducting a survey to  identify classes of people who are socially and educationally backward.
With regard to this, all Swakula Sali Bandhus are requested to be highly alert while filling the Application Form / Survey Form.
It is requested to write the following while giving details to the Survey people....

Religion : HINDU

Caste : SWAKULA SALI

Sub Caste : Weaver

Mother Tongue : MARATHI

You are requested NOT to write MARATHI as Caste and also you are requested to compulsorily write WEAVER as sub-caste.

ADVANTAGE OF "WEAVER" AS SUBCASTE: 

Writing as "Weaver" as Sub Caste will ensure that our community will be placed under Category 2A, which will inturn ensure that subsidies/benefits and types of Welfare schemes by the Government of Karnataka available to this Category will also be made available to our Swakula Sali community.

In the Census Form, the code number given to Swakula Sali is 1194.

This will ensure that we will get Backward Status.

This is not Greed but our RIGHT.
