Title: Head movement based multifunctional smart wheelchair.
This project is meant for the partially paralyzed or physically disabled patients who cannot walk. To help such people move on their own, this wheel chair can move according to the movement of the head. A temperature sensor and heart beat rate sensor are placed on the wheel chair. This system will display the patient’s critical information like body temperature and monitor patients heart beat rate. If any of these sensor values goes beyond the threshold, then it gives a beep sound with the help of buzzer which is also mounted on wheelchair and sends message through GSM to family members, doctor and also an ambulance. I feel proud to mention that our project won the 3rd place for the academic year 2011 from E&C department of my college.
Technologies used: Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment).

· Awarded 3rd place for the technical project work carried out in 8th semester under VTU for the academic year 2011.
· Participated in inter collegiate techno cultural fest VERVE-09 and won as runner in Mini Cricket.
